With the publication of the books "Language Memory and Poetic Form", "History, Class and Style" and "The Novel as a State and Other Essays", the three-year capital project of publishing the collected literary, historical and essay works of Milorad Pavić has been completed, the Cultural Center of Vojvodina "Miloš Crnjanski" announced today. "Extremely important books in the field of theory and history of literature by Pavić have not been published for the past 40 years, and now they have been comprehensively published for the first time," announced the KCV "Miloš Crnjanski", which is a publisher with the National Library of Serbia (NBS).

As stated, a total of nine books, divided into three rounds, are now available to the public. The first round includes "History of Serbian Literature of the Baroque Era," "History of Serbian Literature of Classicism," and "History of Serbian Literature of Pre-Romanticism" (2023), and the second includes "Vojislav Ilić, His Time and Work," "Gavril Stefanović Venclović," and "Vojislav Ilić and European Poetry" (2024).
The third round includes "Linguistic Memory and Poetic Form," "History, Class, and Style," and "The Novel as a State and Other Essays" (2025), the publishers announced. "The reissue of these works certainly represents a significant contribution to the domestic and European academic community, where they have the status of mandatory (or, depending on the subject, secondary) literature, but also to a more complete insight into the work of one of the most significant writers of the last decades of the 20th and early 21st centuries," the statement emphasized.
The authors stated that the publication of "Literary-Historical and Essayistic Works of Milorad Pavić" did not imply a mere reissue, but also the editing of the texts according to modern textological principles, the accompanying scientific literature, including bibliographic and reception studies of these works from their first publication to the present day. The compiler and editor of "Literary-Historical and Essayistic Works of Milorad Pavić" is Pavić's long-time closest collaborator at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, Professor Emeritus Sava Damjanov.
